For over three decades, Shemaroo has been not just an integral part of the film industry, but a household name, known right across the country. It has taken entertainment right into people’s homes, through production and marketing of Indian Films on video. With the boom of video in the 80s, Shemaroo proactively catered new films on high quality tapes. Shemaroo kept pace with changing times and technologies, churning out high quality VCDs to cater to the new generation of film buffs. All through, Shemaroo became a name to reckon with, in not just its leadership in marketing, but also its goodwill. And it is this goodwill that gave us the confidence to get into Film Making.

Shemaroo aims to provide wholesome entertainment to film lovers and intends to produce about two to three films annually that will appeal to the CLASSES and the MASSES, cutting across genres, while always sticking to its dictum ‘QUALITY FIRST’. Through production of quality films, Shemaroo aims to be into the league of eminent Indian production houses.
